Results from Lewis Cass for Saturday, November 16th
Despite a challenging shooting night, the Lady Kings relied on strong defense to keep the Lady Trojans at bay. Tri-Central stayed within striking distance until late in the fourth quarter, when clutch three-point shots from Ava Hubner (2) and Hope Rush (1) helped the Lady Kings pull ahead.
Laney Davis led the scoring for the Kings with a steady 15 points. Ava Hubner added 8, while Mylie Sipe chipped in 6. Anna Hedrick and Kylie Logan scored 4 apiece, and Hope Rush and Aftin Griffin each contributed 3 points.
The Lady Kings improve to 3-0 on the season and will face Kokomo next Wednesday night.
