Results from Oak Hill for Saturday, February 1st
It was a two-team race for the Sectional Championship held at Oak Hill High School on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Kokomo led Oak Hill by a score of 179.5 to 175.0 going into the final round – the matches for 1st, 3rd, and 5th places. Oak Hill had all fourteen of their wrestlers in the final round. Kokomo had twelve. Oak Hill’s wrestlers won ten of their fourteen matches, scoring 34 team points. Kokomo won only four of their twelve matches, scoring 16 team points. Oak Hill overtook Kokomo to win the Sectional by a final score of 209.0 to 195.5. That was Oak Hill’s tenth Sectional Championship in the twelve years.
