Manchester boys basketball traveled to Gas City to take on Mississinewa Friday night and defeated the Indians by the score of 61-46.
The Squires trailed after the first quarter and got the score tied at halftime. The Squires were able to gain the lead going into the fourth quarter and pull away from the Indians late in the 4th quarter. The Squires clinched their first 20-win season in 30 years.
Gavin Betten scored a game high and tied a career high with 35 points. Ethan Hendrix had a huge 4th quarter scoring 11 of his 18 points. The Squires return to action on Friday at Wabash for the semi finals of sectional 38.
