The Manchester Squire Boys Golf team traveled to Colonial Oaks Golf Club for the Northrop Invite this Saturday.
Despite it still being very early in the season and playing through soaking rains and cold, windy conditions, the Squires were able to post respectable scores they can build off of this season.
Connor Trump and Luke Gish led the team with a pair of 81s. Connor played steady all day, making mostly pars and bogeys. Luke struggled at the start in the hard rains playing the first 3 holes 6 over par, but came back well shooting a 37 on the front nine to salvage a very respectable round. Landon Gish was next on the team shooting a 93, followed by Caleb Sautter with a 97. Gavin Betten rounded out the team with a 98, very solid for his first-ever 18 hole tournament.
