The Lady Wildcats battled through nine hard-fought innings to secure a key TRC victory over Manchester, 2-1.
In the top of the 9th, Izzie Harman sparked the offense with a single, followed by a stolen base. After Addie Garr was intentionally walked, Reagan Klepinger delivered a clutch line drive up the middle to bring home the go-ahead run. The Wildcats then shut the door defensively, retiring the Squires in order in the bottom half of the inning.
On the mound, Addie Garr pitched six dominant innings (2nd through 7th), striking out 14. Cassidy Skinner set the tone in the 1st and returned to close out the final two innings, throwing three total scoreless frames and earning the win.
