Results from Maconaquah for Wednesday, May 14th
Deven Mitchell threw a complete game to get the win for the Braves. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits while striking out 7.
Caiden Richards led the offense with 2 hits. Bennett Isenburg had a double. Kobe Bowman, Deven Mitchell, Jayden Mercer, and Devon Murry each had a single to help the Braves.
The Braves were down 3-1 to start the 6th. Mitchell led off with a single and Kobe Bowman followed with a single. Caiden Richards laid down a great bunt and reached first safely. Murry drew a bases loaded walk to make it 3-2. Jayden Mercer was hit by the next pitch to make it 3-3. Two batters later, Jordan Ellis drew a bases loaded walk to make it 4-3.
The boys played within themselves the whole nigth and never gave up. It was a good TEAM win.
The Braves return to Peru on Saturday for a 10 AM game.
