The Manchester Lady Squires soccer team dropped a tough match to the Columbia City Lady Eagles, 3-0.
Manchester came out strong and created several early opportunities, but couldn’t capitalize on their chances. Raimi Vawter had two breakaway attempts that narrowly missed, while Samantha Shock fired a well-placed shot from distance that sailed just over the crossbar.
Defensively, Maggie Onderko-White, Chase Blevins, Olivia Stevens, Brooklynn Grimes, and Ane Hasund did a great job, shutting down numerous Columbia City runs and keeping the game close. Shiann Owens had 8 saves.
