
The Peru Tigers took it to the Manchester boys tennis team with a 5-0 defeat of the Squires in a Three Rivers Conference match, Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Caleb Struble-Hedstrom had the closest match of the night at No. 1 singles, but fell short, 7-6 (2), 6-2.
Brendyn Mugord lost, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2 singles, while the No. 1 doubles team of Milo Hupp and Adam Kirlin also lost, 6-0, 6-0.
Manchester had to forfeit No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles.
The Squires travel to TRC opponent Northwestern Thursday, Aug. 28.
