
The Wabash Lady Apache soccer team fell in a close 2-1 loss on the road at Eastern Saturday.
Freshman goalkeeper Brynn Lindsay had another strong game in goal with 15 saves including a PK. The Wabash goal was found early in the first half with the assist coming from senior Logan Wright and freshman Baelee Noland strongly putting it away for the Apaches. Incredible effort and very strong minutes from seniors Raegan Jones in the midfield and Jaycee Jones defending. Sophomore Colleena Meadows and freshman Ember Christle, both defenders, did a fantastic job winning the ball and starting offensive opportunities for Wabash. Shots from the Lady Apaches today came from Noland, Wright, Christle and freshmen Alyssa Rose and Taylin Fager.
Wabash is back in action on Monday at Alumni Field as they play their last game at home at 5:30 vs Taylor.
