
The Wabash Lady Apaches fell to South Adams in the opening round of the girls varsity soccer sectionals.
Wabash played what was arguably their best half of soccer all season, scoring the first goal of the game and leading 1-0 for most the of the half. The goal came off of a beautiful corner kick from senior Logan Wright and freshman Baelee Noland perfecting redirecting the ball into the the back of the net. South Adams scored before the end of the half and put the teams tied 1-1 going into halftime. The strong South Adams team was able to capitalize on 3 goals in the 2nd half to end the Wabash Lady Apache soccer season. Freshman goalkeeper Brynn Lindsay played an incredibly strong once again with 13 saves on the night. Wabash offensive shots came from Wright and Noland. Seniors Jaycee Jones and Reagan Jones along with freshman Ember Christle and sophomore Colleena Meadows played a great defensive game for Wabash.
