
The Southwood Knights scored in every quarter, defeating Whitko 30-6 Friday.
The Knights would score just once in each of the first three quarters before crossing the goal line twice in the fourth quarter.
In the first Maddox Marshall would race 78yds to five Southwood a 7-0 lead. In the second Ivan Ranck broke loose for a 44yd run and a 14-0 halftime lead.
In the third the lone score would come off the foot of Cooper Drake, who split the uprights with a 37yd field goal.
Owen Enyeart would join the TD parade in the fourth, scoring from 5yds out for a 23-0 lead. Whitko would break the ice with 6:38 to play, making it 23-6 before the Knights pulled a trick out of the bag. Marshall would take the snap and pitch left to Drake who faded back to the right side and hit Marshall in stride for a 40yd scoring strike for the 30-6 final.
