The girls looked great tonight against Pendleton Heights. They ended up with 18 season best swims and 10 first place swims. Kaitlyn Scalf had an outstanding meet, dropping 5 seconds in her 200 free and another 5 seconds in her 500 free. Elayna Cates swam very well in her first meet back this season and placed 2nd in the 100 fly. The boys swim and dive team started the second half of the season with a strong showing over Pendleton Heights. The guys posted 24 season best times and re-broke the school record in the 200 Medley Relay. Their new record is now 1:37.45. I was very happy with the performances tonight. Coming off Christmas break can be difficult to swim fast, but these boys worked hard over break and their hard work is showing already.
