Manchester Track Defeats Wabash/Rochester

The Wabash track team took on Manchester and Rochester Tuesday.

The Wabash Men’s track team was not deterred after a 1.5 hour thunderstorm delay at Tuesday afternoon’s meet against Manchester and Rochester. A multitude of Apaches ran, jumped, and threw to their best marks of the season.

The Lady Squires came away with the win over both Wabash and Rochester on a stormy Tuesday night. Senior Kaylee Fetters led the way with wins in both the high jump (4’8) and 400 m (1:06.54). Bronwyn Harris also picked up her 3 win in the discus this year with a toss of 95’2.

The Squires are now 4-0 after defeating both Wabash and Rochester in a three way meet Tuesday night. The hero of the evening was Johnny Miller who stepped into the 4×100 with 5 minutes of notice to help his team mates (Eli Metzger, Holden Poston, Carson Heath) to a first place time of 44.6. Miller also won the 200 m (24.9) and took 3rd in the 100 m (11.47). Caden Young also PR’d huge in the discus with a toss of 142’2.
