Wabash Boys Track Improve Times

The Wabash boys track team ran in the Tim Wilkins Invite at Churubusco Saturday.

Sophomore Braxten Beeks had an amazing series of throws in the shot put and discus and Coleson Kugler won both the 100 and 200 meter dashes Saturday morning at the Tim Wilkins Invitational hosted by Churubusco High School. Beeks Ultimately came in 2nd in the discus with a 139′ 8″. In the shot put he came in 5th with all throws over 42 feet.

The 4×8 relay of Ezra Church, Luis Trejo, James Unger, Caidan Burchett ran a seasons best time while coming in 5th. James then came back in the 1600 and equaled his season best while freshmen Carsen Morgan crushed his previous best in the 1600 dropping 7 seconds down to a 5:11. In the 800 Ezra Church came in 3rd and then led off the 5th place 4×400 relay with Caidan Burchett 2nd leg, Isaiah Jones 3rd leg, and Coleson Kugler anchor. The 4×100 relay of Isaiah Jones, Preston Cantrell, Ian Edmond, and Keitaro Nagahama dropped a second from their previous best.
