The Manchester and Northfield cross country teams ran in the Manchester Invite Saturday.
The Manchester high school girls team finished 12th place, 4 places higher than last year despite more teams. Emersyn Sarber finished 47th place followed by our three freshmen Lilly Miller, Tenley Metzger, and Ainsley Metzger who all ran great races! Haruka Yokoyama was the final Squire to score.
The boys team finished 16 place out of 31 teams and were led by Oliver Fitzpatrick in 24th place. Jet Thomas, Gabe Selleck, Sam Macias, Ezra Hendricks, Noah Macias, and Wyatt Martin also ran great races in the varsity race. Our JV runners ran strong performances as well with several PRs as all 14 boys finished under 24 minutes.
The Lady Norse ran in the Manchester Invite Saturday with Kaleigh Rice placing 28th overall in 20:47 followed by Sheila Smith in 22:47 and Bristal Foust in 26:51.
The Norse boys ran a great race at the Manchester Invite on Saturday- first for the Norse was Preston Moore in 18:15 followed by Kourtland Pratt in 18:49, Jacob Nesler in 20:02, Bode Sorg in 20:07, Ethan Hoover in 21:31, Gavin Lester in 21:47 and Ray Swick in 32:11
