Wabash Tennis Edges Manchester

The Wabash boys tennis team’s depth help them defeat Manchester, 3-2, Thursday, Sept. 17th.

The Apaches dominated doubles play, with Cruz Long and Camden McKee defeating Manchester’s Graham Kreps-Miller and Charlie Van, 6-1, 6-0, while at No. 2 doubles, Wabash’s Caleb Cagdell and Jerrett McWhirt beat Gatsby Gawthrop, 6-1, 6-0.

Karson McKenzy defeated the Squires’ Adam Kerlin, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 singles,

Manchester’s Brendyn Mugford defeated TJ Tracy, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 2 singles, and the Squires No. 1 player, senior, Caleb Struble Hedstrom went the distance with Wabash’s Micah Siders, defeating the freshman, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.

In JV play, the Wabash No. 1 team of Reed Wiles defeated Braxton Martin and Tristin Sellers, 6-4.
