After a week of celebrating back to back sectional championships, the Lady Norse punched their ticket to the Regional Championship at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville Friday morning.
The Lady Norse played in the top group with Dekalb and Northridge, competing very well against what is now the Regional Champion in Dekalb.
The Lady Norse shot a great team score of 377, which landed them 9th place overall out of 15 teams. The Lady Norse improved from last years Regional round as they placed 11th in the 2025 Regionals. The Lady Norse were the only 1a school playing at regional.
Leading the way for the Norse was Senior Ayla Dale, who shot a team best of 87 and earned herself a very impressive 25th overall as an individual out of 90 golfers. Senior Viv Haupert bounced back from her sectional round and had a great day shooting a strong score 95 for the squad. Sophomore Kassidy Cartwright also had a solid day on the course firing a 97. Senior Addy Sorg ended her amazing career with a 98, and Junior Montgomrie rounded out the scoring with a 102.
The Lady Norse ended their historic season with an overall record of 64-11.
