The Manchester volleyball team hosted Northfield on Tuesday night for a Dig Pink Night to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Before the varsity game, Joetta Herrmann, an office secretary at Manchester Intermediate School, spoke about her battle with breast cancer. During the game, parents hosted a bake sale and there was a serving contest where members of the crowd could pay money to serve to win a pop. The volleyball team raised $1,155 on the evening.
In the match, the varsity Squires swept the Norse 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.
