New Look Knights Edged At Wapahani

After a run to the state championship game last season the Southwood Knights lost the core of that run. Tuesday the new look Knights took a trip to Muncie to battle Wapahani. Although the Knights took a 74-71 loss the future is pretty bright.

Behind three players in double figures for the game the Knights grabbed a 13-8 lead after the first quarter and led 29-23 at the half. Wapahani would erase their 6 point deficit in the third quarter by out scoring the Knights 24-17 for a 47-46 lead before a shoot out broke out in the fourth. The Knights would hang with the host as Wapahani took the quarter 27-25 for the 74-71 final.
