Apaches Suffer Road Loss At Madison Grant

The Wabash Apaches traveled to Madison Grant Saturday, losing their first road game of the year on overtime 73-70.

The Apaches dug a hole in the first half, trailing 23-18 after the first stop and 40-28 at the half. Wabash would claw their way back in the third quarter, taking the quarter 17-8 to close the deficit to 48-45 before winning the fourth 17-14 to force overtime. Madison Grant would then out score Wabash 11-8 in the OT for the 73-70 final.

Wabash was led by Trenton Daughtry with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Logan Vander Velden had 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Blake Gribben 9 points and 8 rebounds.
