After a solid opening 4 minutes to lead 7-2, the LadyKnights would finish the half with a lackluster performance. A few too many careless turnovers and poor rebounding would allow Mad-Grant to close that gap and trail by only 1 at half. A hot-hand for the Argylls would hit 2 quick 3-pointers to build a 5 point lead halfway through the 3rd period before the LadyKnights would take command of the game. The Knights would finish the game on a 22-5 run that included holding M-G without a field goal for the final 11 minutes of play. And after a bit of a sloppy first half, the Knights only had 5 turnovers in the 2nd half to help seal the victory.

Coach West wants to highlight a few solid individual performances tonight.
-MaKenna Pace was the most aggressive player consistently the whole game, both ends of the floor. Getting to the FT 15 times. (11-15). Also had 15 defensive deflections.
-Morgan Farr handled the press single-handedly the entire first half and dished out 4 assists and also a nice 5-7 FT.
-Erin Lehner struggled in the first half, but bounced back and made large contributions in the 2nd half. 5 rebounds, 3 steals, a big block and much of the ball handling in the 2nd half.
-Sydney Helfin also struggled in the first half, but was the sparkplug in the 3rd quarter that helped turn the tide. Syd had 3 offensive rebounds, 3 steals and 4 deflections in the half to turn the momentum in our favor. Also 5 – 2nd half points.
