Knights Wrestling 7th At Western
The Knights wrestling squad showed improvement through out the line up, as they competed at the Western Invitational.
The highlight of the day came when senior Carson Kelley tied his opponent 14-14 in regulation, and then defeated him in overtime by fall in 6:28. The win earned Carson the 145 pound championship, and moved his record to 10-1 for the season. There was another wow moment when (138) Elijah Sutton came back from a 5 point deficit scoring 4 points in the last 5 seconds of his consolation match for the win.
INDIVDUALLY: (145) Carson Kelley was 3-0; (126) Cayden Prickett, (138) Elijah Sutton, (182) Thomas Charles, and (195) Luke Kirk had 2 wins; (106) Aaliyah Douglass, and (160) Connor Rich had one win each.
