Knights JH Split With Argylls

The Southwood junior high basketball team split with Madison Grant Wednesday.

The Knights 7th grade fell to the Argylls 39-31.

The Southwood 8th grade defeated Madison Grant 30-27

The Knights faced their toughest test yet. They were able to go on the road and facing adversity come away with a solid win. Trailing by 3 with under two minutes to go, baskets were scored by Lehner and Sutton to capture the lead. Rody and Winer also knocked in a FT a piece to extend the lead to 3 with under 30 seconds to go. It was a great effort to get the win.
