The Northfield Lady Norse took their #4 ranking to Mississinewa Thursday, trailing after one quarter before turning it on in the second for a 54-37 win.
The Indians would grab a 4-0 lead before Ariel Dale made it 4-2. Trailing 8-2 Kelcie Thomson would start a 6-0 run to tie the score. Addi Baker and Kyra Kennedy scored during the run. Mississinewa led 10-8 after one.
Trailing 12-11 early in the second the Norse would find their game. A free throw from Baker and buckets from Kennedy, Ally Keaffaber and Thomson gave the Norse a 20-12 lead. Dale and Kearston Stout would also score in the quarter as Northfield led 24-15 at the half.
The Norse would grow the lead to 29-15 early in the third. Kelcie Thomson would lead the charge in the quarter with 8 points while Stout added 4. The Norse led 38-28 after three.
Baker, Kennedy and Thomson would all but put the game away early in the fourth to increase the lead to 44-28. With Northfield up 46-33 the Indians would start to foul with Thomson, Keaffaber and Dale connecting from the line 8 times to seal the deal, 54-37.

The Northfield junior varsity defeated Mississinewa 38-19.
