Dominate Defense Carries Lady Squires
The Manchester Lady Squires played host to Bluffton Tuesday, defeating the Tigers 41-29.
A relentless defense was the key for the Squires as they allowed single digits in three of the four quarters. The Lady Squires led 8-7 after the first quarter before the offense caught up with the defense in the second quarter, out scoring Bluffton 15-2 to lead 23-9 at the half.
Manchester would hold Bluffton to just 8 points in the third quarter for a 34-17 lead in route to the 41-29 win.
