The Wabash Apaches gave up a first inning run before scoring 11 unanswered in an 11-1 five inning win over Mississinewa Thursday.

The Indians would plate a run in the top of the first that Wabash answered in the bottom. With one out Jared Holley would be hit by a pitch and later score on a passed ball to even the score.

The Apaches would take control of the game in the second. Joe Leland would reach on an error and was followed by a Bryant Boggs walk. Colton Learned would follow with a single that scored pinch runner Braden Sickafus and Boggs for a 3-1 lead. With one out trenton Daughtry would single home Learned before a Holley single scored Daughtry for a 5-1 lead. Holley would score on an error as Wabash led 6-1.

In the bottom of the third Leland would lead off drawing a walk and was followed by a Boggs walk. A Learned single would score Sickafus to make it 7-1. After a Kaleb Gidley walk all runners would advance a base on a passed ball with Boggs scoring for an 8-1 score. Learned would make it 9-1 scoring on a wild pitch before Gidley and Daughtry scored on a sac fly by Holley for the 11-1 score.
