Lady Knights Fall To Eastern
The Southwood Lady Knights managed just two hits in a 13-2 loss to Eastern Tuesday.
Eastern would score 2 runs in the top of the first before the Knights cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the inning on a Kassity Simpson lead off home run.
Eastern would build their lead to 13-1 in the sixth. The Knights would plate one run in the bottom of the inning. Makenna Pace led off reaching on an error before stealing second. Tabitha Thomas would then be thrown out on a dropped third strike with Pace rounding third and scoring on the throw to first.
