Knights Fall To Blackford
The Southwood Knights grabbed a 2-1 lead in the first before falling to Blackford 9-2 Wednesday.
Blackford would score a run in the top of the first before the Knights answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning. Joey Bland would lead off with a walk before advancing to second on a ground out. Logan Barley would then blast a shot over the left field fence for a two run home run and a 2-1 lead.
The Knights would collect just 4 hits the remainder of the game while giving up 4 runs in the third and 4 runs in the fifth for the 9-2 final.
