Squires Shut Out Eastern In Five
Manchester pitchers Grant Strobel and Mason Meyer combined for a two hitting as the Squires defeated Eastern 11-0 in five innings Friday.
Although the Squires played host for the game they would be the visitors on the scoreboard because the game was moved from Eastern to Manchester because of field conditions.
The Squires would pound out 13 hits in the game and score in each of the first four innings. Grant Strobel led the way at the plate with 3 hits while Mason Meyer, Mason Roberts and Thane Creager each each had two hits.
