The Southwood Lady Knights traveled to South Whitley Wednesday to take on a very good Whitko squad, falling to the Wildcats 10-2.
The Knights trailed 5-0 heading to the fourth when they would plate a run. With two outs Keagan Simpson would single before stealing second. Kayla Mays would follow being hit by a pitch. Turner would then reach on an erro with Simpson scoring to make it 5-1. Whitko would answer in the bottom of the inning with a solo run.
Trailing 10-1 in the top of the seventh Lambert would draw a one out walk. With two outs Smith would single before a Pace single scored Lambert for the final fun.
