The Southwood Lady Knights made short work of Tippecanoe Valley Monday, defeating the Vikings 14-4 in five innings.
The Knights would plate 3 runs in the second on singles from Keagan Simpson, Kayla Mays, Aaliyah Douglass and Kassity Simpson before the Vikings tied the score in the bottom of the inning.
In the third the Knights would get a doubles from Mays and Makenna Pace, plus singles from Erin McGouldrick and Keagan Simpson to score 8 times and grab an 11-3 lead. The Knights also took advantage of a hit batter and two errors in the inning.
Valley would make it 11-4 in the fourth on a home run before a Pace three run blast in the fifth made it 14-4.
