Lady Norse Fall At Whitko
The Northfield Lady Norse gave up four runs in the first inning and could never recover as they fell to Whitko 8-2 Monday.
Whitko would score 4 runs in the bottom of the first before the Norse cut the deficit in half in the third. With one out Jenna Krom would single and advance to third on an Addi Baker double. Ally Keaffaber would follow with a single that chased home both runners to make it 4-2.
The host would hold the Norse bats at bay the remainder of the game while scoring a run in the fifth and 3 in the sixth for the 8-2 final.
