Opening Night Of Little League
The first games of the Wabash Little League Season were played Monday night.
In the National League for the Wabash Elks Lodge Cubs. Keaton Lane had a double and a single going 2 for 3 at the plate.For the Miller Home Furnishings Blackhawks Brody Height hit a double. Dominic Baker went 2 for 3 at the plate. The pitching was strong from both teams. The Blackhawks win the battle 2-0.
In the American League it was the Brian Mallow Indians against the Bott Mechanical WhiteSox. For the Indians Brayden McKenzie was on the mound for2 innings pitching 2 strikeouts and combined for a 3rd out with catcher jacob corn at a home plate tag. For the WhiteSox: Winning pitcher, Bo Liddick, si Tucker Bitzer, with a single,/ Sawyer McNally, with a double,& single/. Ethan Soden, with a double, and Austin Lamson with a double. Final score 11-7 white Sox.
