The Wabash Middle School soccer team fell to Tippecanoe Valley 5-0 Tuesday.
The Apaches held Tipp Valley scoreless in the entire first half of play, with several quality shots on goal from Wilson, S. France and J. France. However, Wabash was not able to answer defensively following the Viking’s first goal at 18:18 into the 2nd half. Wabash’s Hannah Layne racked up 10 saves on tough Tipp Valley shots, but multiple foul calls on the Apaches gave the Vikings additional offensive opportunities. After capitalizing on a hand ball in the box, Tipp Valley scored three goals in quick succession before ending the game at 5-0. Wabash will travel next to North Miami MS on Thursday, April 25.
