Monday Little League

Wabash Little League finally got to play some baseball again after a week of rain outs.

Monday night in the NL we seen the Wabash Elks Lodge Cubs take on the Wabash City School A’s. For the Cubs
Eli Bone 2 innings pitched, 3 strikeouts. 3-4 at plate. And Clay Sheppler went 3-3 at the plate with 3 RBIs. For the A’s Cooper Long 3/3 at the Plate, Coleson Kugler went 2/3 at the plate. Cooper Long threw 3 2/3 innings in relief striking out 8, The A’s win a close one 8-7.

On the American League Field the Ford Meter Box Tigers battled the Lunquist Real Estate Red Sox. For the Red Sox Highlights Keaton Fairchild sacrifice fly scores two runs. On defense , Gage Whitaker, fielded a Ground ball hit back to the pitcher mound cleanly and thrown to first basemen, Danika Holbrook, for the out. For the Tigers Brett Shull went 2 for 2 at the plate and made his debut on the mound and had two Ks. All of the Tigers played a good game making some good contact and running the bases well. Tigers win 14-6.
