The Southwood lady Knights grabbed a 1-0 lead but couldn’t hold off Mississinewa, falling to the Indians 2-1 Tuesday.
The Knights scored their lone run in the second Tabitha Thomas led off with a single. Keagan Simpson would then hit into a fielders choice with Thomas being thrown out at second. With two outs Simpson would score on an error for a 1-0 lead.
Mississinewa would score solo runs in the third and sixth for the 2-1 score.
