Squires Take Two From Central Noble


The Manchester baseball team took a pair of game from Central Noble Saturday 9-8 and 17-7.

The Squires trailed Central Noble 8-5 heading to the sixth inning in game one when they made some noise. Kyle Shepherd led off the inning with a single before a strike out and ground out, leaving pinch runner Justin Self on second with two outs. Mason Meyer would then single to chase home Self to make it 8-6. Meyer would steal second before mason Roberts singled to make it 8-7. Luke Ramer would then draw a walk before Thane Creager doubled home Baker and Ramer to give the Squires a 9-8 lead. Manchester would hold on in the seventh for the 9-8 win.
