Lady Apaches Fall To Oak Hill
The Wabash Lady Apaches grabbed a 2-0 lead in the second inning, but couldn’t hold off Oak Hill as they fell to the Eagles 10-2 in the Oak Hill sectional Wednesday.
In the second with one out Whitney Working would single and was followed by an Alivia Short single. With two outs Kelsie Olinger would reach on an error with Working scoring for a 1-0 lead.
Wabash would tack on a run in the third. With one out Kamden Pries would single, advance to second on a wild pitch before scoring on a Sydnee Osborn double to lead 2-0.
Oak Hill would respond with 10 unanswered runs the remainder of the game for the 10-2 final.
