Wabash Boys Soccer Shuts Out Maconaquah
Sparked by 3 goals in the first half, the Wabash Boys Varsity soccer team cruised to a 4-0 win on Saturday over Maconaquah to start 1-0 in the TRC.
Coming off a week with 2 back-to-back games, Wabash started the game strong. The midfield was dominated by Wyatt Davis and Tre Lopez, who created multiple chances for the Apache attackers.
Mario Melendez scored twice for Wabash, while Braden Brooks and Wyatt Davis each punched in goals for the Apache attack. Both Grant Carandante and Greyson Deboard saw time at goalkeeper, while Traydon Goodwin and Andrew Dinkins swept up all Maconaquah attacks to help keep the shutout.
