Wabash Tennis Second At Logansport
The Wabash boys tennis team placed second in the Logansport invite Saturday.
The Apaches opened the Logansport invite with a 3-2 victory over Seeger. Winners in round one were Rob Ford at 1 singles, Asif Khan at 2 singles, and Jonah France at 3 Singles.
In the second round the Apaches took on Laporte High school and came out victorious with wins coming at the same three spots.
In the Championship round the Apaches came up just short to the host Logansport Berries. Wins came from Rob Ford at 1 singles and Asif Khan at 2 singles.
The Apaches went 2-1 on the day bringing the overall record for the year to 7-1. The guys fought hard and played well. The Apaches return to action on Tuesday when they host the Maconaquah Braves.
