The Wabash boys varsity soccer team snagged a tough road win at Caston on Thursday night 2-0.
The Apaches were stale in the first 20 minutes, but Wyatt Davis drove a cross that Roberto Ruiz finished smoothly. Grant Carandante made a wonderful reaction save to keep the score 1-0. The Apaches should have gone another goal up on a Wyatt Davis penalty kick, but the Apaches were ruled to have entered the 18-yard box too early.
The Apaches started better in the second half, and Solly France capitalized on the good possession to power home the second and final goal.
The Apaches are back in action next Tuesday against Culver.
