The Northfield and Southwood junior high football teams split a pair of games Tuesday.
Northfield won the 7th grade contest 14-0

Southwood won the 8th grade game 48-0
The Knights 8th grade linemen ( Randy Boone, Ethan Bowman, Ayden Stouffer, Jaret Denney, and Drew Shoemaker) did there jobs against the Norsemen, allowing Micah Smith, his backs, and his receivers to put up 334 yards of offense. The result was a 48-0 victory for the Knights.
Touchdowns: Blayne Hamilton (2), Luke Pershing (2), Micah Smith (1), Bryce Rigney (1), and Dalton Barney (1).
Defensively: An excellent team game, Randy Boone (Deflected pass), Cash Balsis (interception), Blayne Hamilton (fumble recovery), Dalton Barney (intercepted pitch play)
