The Southwood Knights completed their county sweep Friday defeating Manchester 41-6.

The Knights would strike first on a 6yd run from Gabe Lloyd for a 6-0 lead that would be the only score of the first quarter.

Manchester would tie the score early in the second quarter when Kreeden Krull picked up a fumble and raced 83yds for a touchdown. The tie was short lived when Joey Bland returned the Manchester kick off 74yds to pay dirt for a 14-6 lead after the two point conversion run by Gabe Lloyd. With 6:42 on the clock the Knights would increase their lead to 21-6 when Jackson Simons ran a sweep to the endzone. Seconds after the touchdown the players were removed from the field because of lightning. After the delay the Knights would not miss a beat, getting a Alex Farr to Carson Rich 22yd TD, followed by Farr connecting with Simons from 24yds out to lead 34-6 at the half.

The lone score of the second half came when Tristin Hayslett scored from 16yds out with 5:57 left in the third
