Despite a compact Tri-Central defense, the Wabash Boys Varsity soccer broke through with a 4-0 win on Saturday.
With the Trojans reluctant to come out of a defensive shell, the Apaches broke through in the 1st half courtesy of a brace by Wyatt Davis. Traydon Goodwin provided the flick-on for Davis on the first goal through a free kick, and Mario Melendez provided a slick assist on the second.
The second half started well as Roberto Ruiz finished a wonderful move started by Jared Brooks. Grant Carandante finished a set piece goal, which was assisted by Tre Lopez.
Grant Carandante and Greyson Deboard both kept the clean sheet for the Apaches. The Apaches finish-up their conference slate on Monday with a trip to North Miami.
