The Southwood junior high volleyball teams took two matches from North Miami Thursday.
The 7th grade defeated North Miami 25-6, 25-12.
Quinn Claussen had 2 pots, 1 kill and 2 digs. Alaina Dague had 6 points and 1 assist. Grace Drake had 16 points, 1 kill, 8 assists and 1 dig. Ava Freeman had 3 points, 1 kill and 1 dig. Hannah Garrison had 1 point and 1 kill. Rowan Goodpasture had 2 kills and 4 digs. Madison Grace had 3 points. Averi Haecker had 6 points, 5 kills, 2 assists and 2 digs. Morgan Powell had 1 point, 1 kill and 1 dig. Lucy Vandermark had 1 point, 1 kill and 1 assist.
The 8th grade defeated the Warriors 25-9, 25-5
Macy Barney has 3 points, 3 kills, and 2 digs. Avery Buckler had 2 points, 1 kill, 3 assists and 3 digs. Allie Haecker has 2 points, 2 kills, 3 assists and 4 digs. Jordan Hart had 1 dig. Bailey Miller had 3 points and 1 kill. Kinsley Miller had 1 kill and 2 digs. Kinzie Stouffer had 5 points and 2 digs. Carley Whitesel had 23 points, 1 kill and 2 assists.
