Wabash Soccer Falls To Carroll
The Wabash Apache Boys soccer ended their regular season slate Thursday against Carroll with a 2-1 loss.
The Apaches scored first as Wyatt Davis drove to the net, and fired a pass that was flicked into the goal by Mario Melendez.
Although ending the half on top, Carroll did a wonderful job winning aerial duels and playing a physical style of soccer. After pulling even midway through the half after a hard challenge on Roberto Ruiz, Carroll went ahead after another hard challenge created a free kick opportunity which they capitalized on.
Despite the hard loss, the Apaches celebrated a wonderful senior night. Wyatt Davis, Traydon Goodwin, Tre Lopez, Roberto Ruiz, Taylor Coffman, Michael Cordes, Braden Brooks, Mario Melendez, Dylan Morris, and manager Grace Schoening all capped off a highly successful senior season. The Apaches take on Lakewood Park in the Blackhawk sectional next Wednesday.
