Southwood C Wins OT Thriller
The C team Knights picked up their first win in exciting fashion on Thursday night, defeating Eastern 44-40.
A hot shooting start saw Southwood jump out to a comfortable first half lead. However, the second half saw Eastern knock down seven 3’s and take the lead late in the fourth quarter: A Mo Lloyd layup with 11 seconds left sent the game to overtime. Drayson Pace knocked down two big shots in the extra frame, and a late free throw from Brayden Smith put the game out of reach.
