Lady Norse/Wabash Boys Claim County Basketball Titles

Day two of the Wabash County basketball tournament kicked off at 10:00 Saturday morning.

In the girls consolation game Manchester defeated Wabash 47-37 while Southwood won the county title defeating Northfield 45-27.

On the boys side Wabash defeated Northfield 51-33 in the consolation game while the Southwood Knights defeated Manchester 49-31 to win the county championship.

The first varsity consolation game was between the Wabash and Southwood girls with the Lady Apaches coming out on top 53-42.

The boys consolation game was won by Southwood over Northfield 90-33.

The Northfield girls won the varsity county tourney, defeating Manchester 48-39.

The last game of the tournament was between the Wabash and Manchester boys with the Apaches dominating the Squires 80-45.
