Knights Lone Survivor

Three Wabash County basketball teams were in sectional action Friday night with just one surviving to advance.

At Manchester the Wabash Apaches led 42-30 at the half before Canterbury came back to defeat the Apaches 69-66.

At Southern Wells Northfield fell to Lakeland Christian 59-43 before Southwood picked up the lone win of the night, defeating Southern Wells 69-44.

Leading the way for Northfield was Clayton Tomlinson who scored 33 points and added 5 steals. Jayden Peas scored 4 points with 3 steals, Dillon Tomlinson had 2 points and 6 steals and Graydon Holmes closed out his Norse career with 2 points and 7 rebounds.
