Squires Win Home Opener

The Manchester Squires opened in impressive fashion Friday defeating North Miami 47-12.

After a see saw battle in the first where the Squires were leading 12-6 it was all Manchester after that. The Squires would score first on a 7yd pass play from Brock Casper to Seth Gaerte before North Miami answered. Casper would then hook up with Blake Pohler from 26yds out to lead 12-6 after one.

Braxton Ream would get the second quarter scoring going on a 1yd plunge before Casper and Pohler hooked up from 43yds away to lead 26-6 at the half.

In the third Casper would find Gaerte from 45yds away before Ream scored from 5yds out for a 40-6 score after three.

Ream would tack on one more score in the fourth while North Miami scored as the clock ran out for the 47-12 final.
